Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and establishing delivery timelines.

• Collaborate actively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Confidence in communicating in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
