Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures

• Diagnose and address issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery scheduling

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Supply technical insights to product roadmaps

• Assist in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology service provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and external system integrations

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Proficient in relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Able to communicate fluently in English

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
