Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology service provider.

• Execute software components in alignment with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.

• Carry out unit testing of software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and liaise with project stakeholders to ensure effective and dependable project execution.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses the entire lifecycle of tax declaration processing, calculations, and assessments.

• Integrate the system with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Strong ability to communicate confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is desirable.
