Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing, along with troubleshooting and issue resolution

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declarations, calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficiency with relational databases, including PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging solutions, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Proficient in English communication

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
