Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing processes

• Identify and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights into product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Design and maintain customized software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology services client

• Contribute to a tax administration system encompassing tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems like Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Strong grasp of testing principles

• Proficient communication skills in English

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous
