Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures

• Identify and resolve technical issues

• Carry out unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery timelines

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain customized software solutions for a major European public-sector technology provider

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes

• Proficient with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ

• Good grasp of testing principles

• Strong verbal communication skills in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration capabilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
