Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery scheduling

• Work collaboratively with team members and interact with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology services client

• Assist in the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Proficient understanding of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid grasp of testing principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (preferred)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (preferred)
