Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent public-sector technology service provider in Europe.

• Implement software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Execute unit tests for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery timelines.

• Collaborate with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Contribute technical insights to product roadmaps.

• Partake in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization.

• Facilitate and enhance CI/CD processes.

• Work on a tax administration system that includes processing tax declarations, performing tax calculations, assessments, and integrating with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Proficiency with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Familiarity with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
