Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve various issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project workloads and delivery schedules.

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights into product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Strong proficiency with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Competence in confidently communicating in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
