Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Work collaboratively with team members and engage with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization processes.

• Enhance and support CI/CD workflows.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system involving tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and external-system integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Proficient with REST/SOAP integrations and messaging platforms (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

• Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is an advantage.
