Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing procedures.

• Diagnose and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and timelines for delivery.

• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, which include incident analysis and prioritization.

• Aid in the support and optimization of CI/CD processes.

• Create and sustain tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and external system integrations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Proficient experience with Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience working with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Capability to communicate confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
