Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate with project stakeholders.

• Provide technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in triage activities, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a major European public-sector technology service provider.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containers (Docker/Kubernetes).

• Proficiency with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS).

• Experience in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging (Kafka, ActiveMQ).

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience with Angular front-end development (desirable).

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (desirable).
