Mid-Level Java Back-End Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Create software by writing code for applications, programs, and systems based on project specifications and requirements.

• Evaluate the developed software, identifying and rectifying issues, bugs, and code defects.

• Ensure high-quality delivery, adhere to deadlines, and maintain customer satisfaction.

• Document the developed code to aid in product maintenance and updates.

• Assist the development team by offering technical guidance and leadership in delivering solutions.

• Design efficient, scalable, and maintainable software solutions.

• Investigate and incorporate new technologies to enhance software performance and efficiency.

• Oversee and support production systems, identifying problems and implementing solutions.

• Collaborate on software architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Certification in Programming Languages (preferred).

• Certification in Cloud Technologies (preferred).

• Certification in Agile Methodology (preferred).

• Familiarity with Java 6, Java 11 or later, and Spring Boot.

• Understanding of relational databases, including Sybase, SQL, and MySQL.

• Knowledge of non-relational databases, such as Firestore and Elasticsearch.

• Experience with monitoring tools.

• Required understanding of software architecture and development engineering.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).

• Intermediate proficiency in programming languages (preferred).

• Intermediate familiarity with frameworks and technologies (preferred).

• Advanced understanding of databases (preferred).

• Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies (preferred).

• Experience with code repositories, such as Git (preferred).

• Familiarity with Cloud technologies (preferred).
