Senior Java Backend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement robust and scalable software solutions utilizing Java.

• Create, optimize, and maintain robust, scalable RESTful APIs.

• Design and implement solutions based on microservices architecture.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to comprehend requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

• Address complex performance and security challenges.

• Conduct code reviews, identify areas for enhancement, and ensure adherence to microservices architecture and integration standards.

• Apply Clean Code principles, SOLID principles, and established coding standards.

• Work alongside software architects to establish standards and best practices.

• Provide support and mentorship to junior and mid-level developers.

• Ensure the quality, security, performance, and scalability of software solutions.

• Maintain and evolve APIs and microservices.

• Ensure that technical solutions align with project requirements.

• Contribute to the resolution of complex technical issues and the continuous improvement of code.

• Share knowledge and support the technical growth of junior and mid-level professionals.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Java (Java 8 or higher) and the Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring Data, and Spring Security).

• Proficiency in relational databases (PostgreSQL and MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB and Redis).

• Experience with microservices architecture and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, and SQS).

• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker and Kubernetes).

• Experience with continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD), utilizing tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and version control with Git.

• Completed or currently pursuing higher education.

• Experience with Open Finance is desirable.

• Background in the financial sector and with transactional systems.

• Proven experience in providing technical guidance to developers.

• Involvement in defining architecture standards and development best practices.
