This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Oversee and manage security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and EDR to detect and respond to threats in real-time.
• Investigate and analyze security incidents, performing incident response and forensic analysis when necessary.
• Set up, optimize, and maintain firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection systems, and enterprise antivirus solutions.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with patch management and security updates.
• Create and implement incident response playbooks along with automating security processes.
• Work collaboratively with IT and DevOps teams to incorporate security practices into development pipelines and infrastructure.
• Facilitate cybersecurity training and awareness programs for employees.
• Ensure adherence to LGPD, GDPR, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards and regulations.
• Generate security reports and metrics for leadership, including suggestions for ongoing enhancements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity.
• Proficiency in log analysis, threat detection, and cyber incident response.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, CIS Controls, or ISO 27001.
• Understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VPNs, firewalls) and operating systems (Windows, Linux).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, capable of conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English for technical reading and writing; conversational fluency is advantageous.
• Scripting skills in languages such as Python and PowerShell for automating security tasks (preferred).
• Experience with cloud environments like AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Oracle Cloud (a plus).
• Knowledge of DevSecOps and security integration into CI/CD pipelines (a plus).
• Background in Threat Intelligence and malware analysis (a plus).
• Participation in Capture The Flag (CTF) events or cybersecurity competitions (a plus).
• CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISM, OSCP, or equivalent certifications are preferred.
