Senior IT Project Manager – Laboratory Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Plan, execute, and deliver IT projects within the laboratory setting.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to outline project scope.

• Implement quality assurance protocols for IT systems.

• Perform risk assessments and formulate mitigation strategies.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Lead project teams and promote continuous improvement.

• Propel the adoption of best practices in IT project management.

• Prepare and present project status reports.

• Oversee vendor relationships pertaining to IT quality laboratory initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is mandatory.

• Over 7 years of experience in IT project management, emphasizing quality applications.

• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and other project management methodologies.

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes.

• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and risk management.

• Demonstrated success in delivering projects within complex IT environments.

• Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience with laboratory information management systems (LIMS).

• Knowledge of GxP regulatory compliance.

• Experience with Document Management Systems (DMS) and related solutions.
