Senior IT Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona.

📋 Description

• Supervise highly intricate system projects and/or programs.

• Assemble and direct project teams.

• Identify suitable resources for project execution.

• Create project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.

• Manage partnerships with stakeholders.

• Address and mitigate project risks.

• Coordinate team activities aligning with system scope, project objectives, and team member responsibilities.

• Oversee the interdependencies and integration of related projects while managing programs.

• Establish strategies and lead program execution to provide long-term business value.

• Utilize SDLC and ITIL frameworks to manage technology project risks and issues.

• Influence departmental strategy.

• Make decisions concerning technical approaches for various project components.

• Occasionally travel to Humana offices for training or meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced understanding of the Customer Experience Team (CXP).

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years of technical experience.

• Proven experience in technical product selection, design, and effective implementation of IT solutions.

• A strong desire to contribute to an organization dedicated to enhancing consumer experiences.

• Master’s Degree in Business Administration (preferred).

• Extensive experience in data warehousing, decision support, and reporting system environments (preferred).

• Familiarity with Oracle and IBM Relational Database Management Systems, executive information systems, and statistical software packages (preferred).

• In-depth knowledge of development languages, tools, and utilities, including Cobol, CICS, DB2, ASP, COM, .Net, and SQL (preferred).

• Six Sigma and/or Project Management Institute certification (preferred).

• Experience in the health solutions sector (preferred).

• Minimum home internet speed of 25 Mbps for download and 10 Mbps for upload.

• Suggested connection types include wireless, wired cable, or DSL.

• A dedicated workspace free from interruptions to safeguard member PHI/HIPAA information.
