Senior IT Project Manager – Application Rationalization Program

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Oversee a comprehensive Application Rationalization Program within a pharmaceutical organization.

• Manage interdependencies, milestones, and deliverables across various program workstreams.

• Create and sustain integrated plans, dependency maps, and timelines across workstreams.

• Recognize conflicts, gaps, risks, and dependencies, and facilitate their resolution with the appropriate teams.

• Promote alignment among business, application, infrastructure, architecture, security, and other program stakeholders.

• Deliver structured status reports that address dependencies, risks, issues, and necessary decisions.

• Assist with program governance, steering committees, and management reporting.

• Maintain a comprehensive perspective of the Application Rationalization roadmap.

• Ensure that individual workstreams stay aligned with the overarching program objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of experience in IT Project Management, preferably within large-scale enterprise settings.

• Demonstrated experience as an Integration Lead, PMO Lead, or Senior IT PM managing multiple workstreams.

• Robust experience in managing dependencies, milestones, risks, and integrated planning.

• Familiarity with complex IT transformation, application portfolio management, infrastructure, or application rationalization initiatives.

• Experience with GxP documentation in regulated pharmaceutical environments.

• Strong skills in stakeholder management across both technical and business teams.

• Exceptional coordination, communication, escalation, and conflict-resolution abilities.

• Capability to function effectively in complex, global, and matrixed organizations.

• A hands-on, structured, proactive, and delivery-focused approach.
