
Senior IT Procurement and Compliance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Execute IT procurement activities, which include collecting business requirements, pre-qualifying vendors, creating and disseminating RFPs and RFQs, assessing proposals, and recommending vendors.
• Generate purchase orders, process and categorize invoices, prepare check requests, and reconcile purchases.
• Conduct vendor due diligence, perform risk assessments, complete security and privacy questionnaires, track contract compliance, and monitor vendor obligations.
• Oversee regulatory requirements, ensure alignment with governance frameworks, monitor audit activities, facilitate remediation efforts, and track risk and compliance metrics.
• Coordinate risk assessments, policy evaluations, vendor review sessions, audit status updates, management reporting, and meetings involving vendors, auditors, business personnel, IT staff, and legal representatives.
• Drive project initiatives, process enhancements, audit preparations, and privacy-related tasks.
• Maintain documentation for Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans in SharePoint.
• Organize and participate in annual tabletop exercises, retain documentation, track action items, and report on exercise results.
• Assist with the management, publication, and communication of IT policies.
• Document corrective action plans, assign responsibilities, monitor deadlines, and verify closure evidence.
• Support privacy initiatives, maintain compliance documentation, assist with incident tracking and risk assessments, and help safeguard sensitive and personal information.
• Offer guidance, training, and support to less experienced team members.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a procurement or compliance analyst.
• Background in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement.
• Experience in supporting privacy, compliance, risk, or audit programs.
• Familiarity with vendor management and contracting.
• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Equivalent military experience is also acceptable.
• Understanding of COSO, COBIT, NIST, ISO, SOC, HIPAA, GLBA, and other control frameworks.
• Knowledge of privacy and data protection principles.
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Capability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic skills in SharePoint.
• Preferred experience in the insurance industry.
