Senior Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a training solution partner for the organization.

• Collaborate independently with the Learning Development Consultant and Talent Management team to identify needs and design training solutions.

• Oversee multiple instructional design projects and training programs simultaneously, applying project management skills.

• Create efficient and impactful training materials, including online/e-learning modules, microlearning courses, instructor-led training, job aids, online tutorials, and multimedia content.

• Develop training initiatives for onboarding, performance management, professional and leadership development, team engagements, and talent development programs.

• Manage Learning Management System administrative tasks and reporting using Workday Learning & Performance modules.

• Assist Talent team communications and uphold design initiatives and programs.

• Sustain established programs, enhance participation, and refresh content and delivery formats.

• Foster partnerships with Talent Management team members to ensure program success.

• Write and revise technical and procedural documents, including training aids, quick reference guides, participant manuals, and facilitator guides.

• Generate and support learning reports.

• Facilitate change initiatives necessary for the rollout of new and updated training experiences and cultural initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is mandatory.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Instructional Designer is required.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is preferred.

• In-depth knowledge of best practices for developing and designing instructional materials for adult education and/or corporate training.

• Familiarity with technology for learning, including multimedia development, web conferencing, learning management systems, social networking, and online collaborative tools.

• Outstanding interpersonal and professional communication skills with a variety of personality types and all levels of management.

• Capability to consult in a professional and influential manner with senior stakeholders, HR, and People Leaders.

• Strong ability to manage multiple complex leadership design projects at once, with a keen attention to detail.

• Skill in identifying learning needs and simplifying complex concepts into straightforward design solutions.

• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Project, Excel, Articulate, Storyline, and microlearning platforms.

• Proactive, innovative, and effective problem-solving capabilities.

• Flexible, decisive, trustworthy, and responsible approach to achieving commitments and goals.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing expertise.

• Experience in publishing and updating content in Workday or other LMS platforms.

• Work authorization/location: US-Remote.
