Senior Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Create and develop compelling and effective materials for both instructor-led and virtual workshops, which include facilitator guides, participant guides, job aids, quick reference guides, learning activities, simulations, and assessments.

• Facilitate instructional design discussions and reviews with clients and project teams to ensure alignment of learning solutions with business goals.

• Design interactive learning strategies that incorporate principles of adult learning, application exercises, case studies, and facilitated discussions.

• Conduct and facilitate Train-the-Trainer sessions to equip facilitators for successful delivery of workshops.

• Assist in business development initiatives by engaging in proposals, pitches, and discussions regarding learning strategies.

• Evaluate and refine training materials produced by others to ensure instructional quality, learner engagement, and educational effectiveness.

• Convert client goals, objectives, and strategies into impactful learning experiences.

• Carry out curriculum analyses and establish measurement strategies.

• Develop learning assets utilizing content provided by Medical Writers or clients.

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in education, instructional design, organizational development, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience.

• Proven experience in needs analysis, instructional design, curriculum development, learning measurement, and adult learning methodologies.

• Background in designing live and virtual instructor-led workshops and learning experiences.

• Capability to translate complex content into engaging learning experiences.

• Proficient with AI tools, MS Office, and virtual meeting platforms.

• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and organizational abilities.

• Skilled in managing multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines within a dynamic client environment.

• Strong collaboration, consulting, and stakeholder management skills.

• Familiarity with and experience in the life sciences sector, including pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or medical device training.
