Senior Claims Training Specialist – Property

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Supervise the onboarding process for new adjusters joining the DMA Independent Adjuster Team, emphasizing member experience as well as the accuracy of estimates and assessments.

• Establish new adjusters within the FHE system and deliver thorough training on its functionalities.

• Set up X1 for new property adjusters, which includes configuring preferences, company headers, opening and closing statements, and essential defaults.

• Provide training for property adjusters on estimation guidelines, review standards, client service level objectives, updates on exams, and preparation for Xactimate Level Certification.

• Assist new adjusters with their initial work submissions, covering report preparation, work uploads, and diary management.

• Educate adjusters on file billing and time entry procedures within the FHE system.

• Cross-train adjusters in additional lines of business, including trucking.

• Identify and assess tools and technologies that enhance adjuster productivity and quality.

• Create online training materials using Microsoft Teams, which include videos and webinars.

• Mentor adjusters and facilitate their progression to the General Adjuster level for CSC assignments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced working knowledge of Xactimate, holding a current Xactimate Level Certification.

• Proficient in FHE and X1 claims systems.

• Previous experience as a Property Adjuster or General Adjuster.

• Strong skills in presentation and instructional design, including the ability to deliver virtual training via Microsoft Teams.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple trainees and conflicting priorities.

• At least five years of experience in property claims adjusting, including independent adjusting.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.

• Experience in training, mentoring, or supervisory roles is preferred.

• Xactimate Level 2 or Level 3 certification is preferred.

• A bachelor's degree is preferred.
