Senior Instructional Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.

📋 Description

• Develop engaging educational content that promotes business success.

• Assess the most suitable platform and delivery method for learning requirements.

• Implement continuous enhancements to learning materials and procedures.

• Collaborate with Subject-Matter Experts to design training that aligns with business objectives.

• Oversee instructional design projects from initial concept to final implementation.

• Manage project schedules, resources, and stakeholder expectations effectively.

• Create visually appealing, multi-modal learning experiences that yield measurable outcomes and business success.

• Evaluate challenges, identify solutions, and make informed decisions with minimal guidance.

• Produce facilitator and participant guides, assessments, certifications, job aids, pre- and post-assignment materials, and performance support resources.

• Develop and present instructional content across various learning modalities.

• Support additional learning and development projects as assigned.

• Effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.

• Oversee instructional design projects from inception to realization.

• Utilize adult learning theories, instructional design techniques, and learning technologies.

• Create visually compelling, multi-modal learning experiences.

• Assess challenges, propose solutions, and make sound decisions with minimal supervision.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Knowledge of adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design.

• Experience in creating facilitator and participant guides, assessments, certifications, job aids, pre- and post-assignment materials, and performance support resources.

• Familiarity with developing instructional content across various learning modalities.

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Vyond, Articulate 360, Synthesia, and Learning Management Systems.

• Automotive instructional design experience is preferred but not mandatory.

• Advanced experience in instructional design.

• Experience in creating presentations for executive-level audiences.

• Proficient video editing skills.

• Degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Adult Learning, or a related field, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• Proven track record of innovation utilizing AI-driven workflows.

• Demonstrated ability to leverage emerging technologies to improve workflow efficiencies.
