This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Iowa.
• Design a thorough content strategy and training repository for ACT’s post-test data offerings.
• Develop scalable training materials and resources tailored for states, school districts, and educators.
• Gather and document best practices in customer engagement to guide product improvements and enhance the impact of data usage.
• Create internal frameworks, tools, and templates to ensure consistent support for data literacy.
• Collaborate with school districts and state education programs to interpret post-test results, analyze outcomes, and plan interventions.
• Facilitate webinars and in-person training events at the state, regional, and national levels.
• Represent ACT at educational conferences, gatherings of state agencies, and customer events.
• Support the development and readiness of RFP responses.
• Aid the Revenue Office objectives by maintaining current users and introducing solutions that help customers achieve their goals.
• Train and mentor internal field staff on the post-test data training repository.
• Cultivate institutional knowledge regarding customer challenges, proven solutions, and emerging practices in data usage.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in education data or professional development roles, utilizing data and analysis for educational decision-making.
• Background in professional development, training delivery, or instructional support within educational environments.
• Proven experience in creating external-facing materials and resources, such as training sessions, presentations, and guides.
• Strong skills in quantitative analysis.
• Demonstrated experience handling K12 or postsecondary education data.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, including the capability to convey data concepts to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in building relationships and influencing educators, state officials, school leaders, and other stakeholders.
• A strong commitment to enhancing educational outcomes and promoting equity.
• Expertise in Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Teams or comparable virtual training platforms.
• Skilled in PowerPoint, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar content development/e-learning authoring tools.
• Willingness to travel at least 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, policy, public policy, economics, statistics, data science, or a related field, or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
• Direct experience at a State Education Agency, Local Education Agency, or assessment provider is beneficial.
• Familiarity with the K12 educational assessment and accountability framework is a plus.
• Experience in designing and delivering large-scale training involving complex datasets is preferred.
• A background in instructional design or curriculum development is a plus.
• Experience collaborating with school districts, state education agencies, or higher education institutions on data initiatives is a plus.
• Applicants must have authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
• Final candidates will undergo a criminal background check.
• Completion of the ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is recommended.
