Senior Insider Threat Investigator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Perform insider investigations that vary in complexity and sensitivity.

• Examine evidence with an emphasis on containment, loss recovery via criminal prosecution, and civil recovery efforts.

• Oversee a range of insider investigations.

• Gather, preserve, and analyze digital evidence utilizing established methodologies.

• Quickly identify reported incidents and take suitable actions to minimize potential losses.

• Evaluate and prioritize files while investigating assigned cases.

• Collaborate with other financial institutions, law enforcement, and judicial system counterparts to recover assets and lessen TD’s exposure.

• Conduct investigations in a professional and timely manner.

• Recognize and communicate any procedural weaknesses.

• Identify industry and criminal risk trends and share insights with relevant parties.

• Maintain productive relationships with internal investigative partners.

• Represent the Bank in court proceedings.

• Manage programs, projects, and initiatives of low to moderate scope and complexity.

• Provide thought leadership and industry insights.

• Engage in knowledge transfer, cross-training, performance management, and development activities.

• Keep stakeholders updated on project and activity statuses.

• Mentor others and contribute to the development of team capabilities.

• Lead, motivate, and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

• Generally report to a Manager/Senior Manager.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of relevant experience, including familiarity with banking systems and practices.

• An undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications/designations, or an equivalent is preferred.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Exceptional critical thinking abilities.

• Strong understanding of analytical tools and techniques.

• Proven decision-making capabilities and judgment skills.

• Solid knowledge of criminal investigative methods.

• Awareness of laws governing the collection of evidence and court processes.

• Understanding of financial and criminal trends.

• Comprehensive knowledge of bank products, systems, policies, and procedures.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Capacity to prioritize tasks, multitask, and adapt to shifting priorities.

• Language requirement: Sans Objet (Quebec only).
