Senior Infrastructure Engineer – SUSE Harvester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.

📋 Description

• Engage in the design, development, and management of an on-premise Kubernetes platform utilizing SUSE Harvester and Rancher.

• Build internal Platform Engineering and establish environments that support product development and operational processes.

• Architect and implement hyperconverged infrastructure solutions.

• Manage and enhance Software Defined Storage (Longhorn) for both production and testing environments.

• Contribute to the design of network architecture, ensuring high availability, geo-redundancy, and disaster recovery strategies.

• Assist developers in creating suitable solutions for migrating to Kubernetes.

• Persistently enhance and develop the existing infrastructure.

• Collaborate with Yunex Traffic’s DevOps and Infrastructure teams focused on intelligent transportation technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience (medior/senior level).

• Hands-on experience in automating infrastructure using Terraform.

• Proficient in Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.

• Experience in administering Kubernetes platforms with SUSE Rancher or comparable tools.

• Understanding of hyperconverged infrastructure, preferably with experience in SUSE Harvester.

• Familiarity with Software Defined Storage, ideally with Longhorn.

• Strong knowledge of Linux.

• Capacity to rapidly grasp the technical domain.

• Proficiency in English is a plus, but not mandatory.
