Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide support to internal business units through shared engineering services and functionalities.

• Develop tools and processes that empower internal teams.

• Cultivate stakeholder relationships and take ownership of projects from start to finish.

• Collaborate with internal customer-facing teams to enhance their daily operations.

• Partner with product engineering to gather data for informed business decisions.

• Enhance observability through metrics, alerting, logging, and telemetry integration.

• Identify opportunities and implement Continuous Deployment improvements.

• Utilize infrastructure as code to implement changes within a cloud environment.

• Work alongside engineering teams to drive cross-functional infrastructure enhancements.

• Automate updates for managed services and virtual machines.

• Design, develop, test, and document essential software components.

• Manage services by ensuring observability, incident response, and handling customer support escalations.

• Evaluate and enhance system efficiency, scalability, and stability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in CI/CD, secrets management, infrastructure as code, and observability.

• Experience working with distributed systems.

• Familiarity with managing services in a cloud environment, preferably AWS.

• Experience with Kubernetes in a production setting is a significant advantage.

• Understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing and routing.

• Experience with Go programming is a plus.

• Capability to provide and receive constructive feedback while working independently.

• Adaptability to the dynamic environment of a startup.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
