Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Address critical platform vulnerabilities effectively.

• Create secure, CVE-near-free container base images throughout build and distribution pipelines.

• Manage and expand Kubernetes platforms.

• Implement admission control, security standards, and cluster governance utilizing Kyverno.

• Design and sustain highly available platform authentication with Keycloak and IdentityServer.

• Automate routine operational tasks using AI.

• Develop platform tools using Python, Go, Terraform, Terragrunt, CloudFormation, and Ansible.

• Oversee AWS infrastructure operations, with GCP as a supplementary cloud.

• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Engage in an on-call rotation for incident response duties.

⛳️ Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes platform operations in production environments.

• Knowledge of container hardening practices and Kyverno policy-as-code.

• Expertise in Python and Go programming languages.

• Practical experience with Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, and CI/CD tools.

• Familiarity with GitHub Workflows and ArgoCD.

• Strong foundational knowledge of AWS cloud services.

• Experience with ECS, EKS, IAM, and Security Hub in production settings.

• Working knowledge of Keycloak or IdentityServer.

• Proficient in Linux troubleshooting.

• Experience managing workflows for vulnerability remediation and creating minimal-CVE image pipelines.

• Familiarity with GCP is a plus as a secondary cloud.

• Demonstrated proactive problem-solving abilities and effective communication with cross-functional teams.
