Senior HR Technology Engineer

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Act as the primary subject matter expert for all HR technology platforms, including advanced configuration, architectural decisions, and intricate troubleshooting.

β€’ Foster innovative solutions aimed at addressing existing business challenges while creating a scalable HR technology ecosystem.

β€’ Oversee system releases, upgrades, and significant implementations, which encompass testing, stakeholder communication, and post-launch support.

β€’ Create and uphold system access frameworks, role-based permissions, and security measures across HR platforms.

β€’ Regularly assess system performance and apply enhancements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and user experience.

β€’ Address and resolve intricate technical issues by collaborating with IT, vendors, or the HRIS Manager as necessary.

β€’ Collaborate with IT and Legal/Compliance to ensure adherence to security, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

β€’ Represent HRIS in HR system projects and integrations alongside HR teams, IT, vendors, and stakeholders.

β€’ Organize efforts with vendors and internal partners for implementations, upgrades, and integration projects.

β€’ Provide technical insights during solution design discussions with the HRIS Solutions team.

β€’ Create and present training sessions for Engineers and Coordinators.

β€’ Guide Engineers and Coordinators through documentation, peer support, and hands-on demonstrations.

β€’ Maintain thorough documentation of HR systems, including configuration logs, process guides, and change records.

β€’ Act as the I-9 compliance administrator for corporate hires, managing audits and supervising E-Verify processes.

β€’ Support compliance audits and internal assessments related to HR technology and data practices.

β€’ Stay updated on HR technology trends, platform enhancements, and compliance requirements pertinent to the staffing and healthcare sectors.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ A minimum of 5–7 years of experience in HRIS or HR systems, showing a clear progression to senior-level technical roles.

β€’ In-depth hands-on expertise in platform configuration, systems management, and cross-platform troubleshooting within an enterprise HRIS or HCM environment.

β€’ Proven track record of managing system releases, upgrades, or implementations, including test coordination, stakeholder communication, and post-launch support.

β€’ Established knowledge in system access governance, role-based permissions, and data security standards.

β€’ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex system issues.

β€’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly document technical processes and effectively communicate with non-technical stakeholders.

β€’ Capacity to exercise sound judgment, manage competing priorities autonomously, and safeguard the confidentiality of sensitive organizational information.

β€’ Solid understanding of HR functions, HR business processes, and the operational role HRIS plays in the organization.

β€’ Experience with UKG Pro, WFM, or a similar enterprise HRIS platform at an advanced configuration or architecture level, along with familiarity with iCIMS, Betterworks, Qualtrics, and Confirm.

β€’ Knowledge of I-9 compliance administration and E-Verify processes.

β€’ Experience with data security frameworks and HR compliance audits.

β€’ Understanding of system integration concepts, middleware, or API-driven data flows.

β€’ Experience in the staffing industry or a healthcare/travel nursing environment.

β€’ A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field; or equivalent experience.

β€’ Project Management certification (PMP) or an equivalent qualification is a plus.
