This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.
β’ Collaborate with HR and business stakeholders to evaluate needs, document existing and future processes, and convert requirements into functional specifications.
β’ Analyze system capabilities, pinpoint deficiencies, and propose scalable solutions, automation, and process enhancements.
β’ Assess the upstream and downstream effects of configuration, integration, and process modifications.
β’ Configure and oversee HR technology modules, workflows, business rules, security roles, and associated functionalities.
β’ Create testing strategies and scripts; manage and implement unit, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
β’ Investigate and resolve intricate production issues, conduct root-cause analyses, and act as an escalation point for HR technology support.
β’ Ensure data integrity through audits, reconciliations, validation controls, and corrective action plans.
β’ Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and analyses for HR and business decision-making.
β’ Oversee and support interfaces and integrations with payroll, benefits, recruiting, finance, identity, and other systems.
β’ Diagnose data and processing failures in collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
β’ Lead intricate system enhancements and project workstreams from discovery to deployment, including scope, requirements, risk, testing, communication, training, and post-production support.
β’ Communicate status updates, risks, decisions, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Maintain process flows, configuration records, functional specifications, testing documentation, support procedures, and user guidance.
β’ Safeguard employee data and ensure adherence to privacy, security, and records management regulations.
β’ Mentor analysts and users, share best practices, and contribute to HR technology standards and ongoing improvements.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience will also be considered.
β’ 5+ years of progressive experience in supporting HR technology, HRIS, systems analysis, or related HR operations.
β’ Advanced hands-on experience with a major enterprise HCM platform such as Oracle HCM or Dayforce; experience across multiple HR domains is preferred.
β’ Proven experience leading complex system enhancements or project workstreams from requirements gathering through deployment and support.
β’ Working knowledge of SQL or similar programming languages, with the ability to write and interpret queries for data validation, reporting, and troubleshooting issues.
β’ Basic understanding of AI-enabled technology and its practical applications in analysis, automation, and productivity.
β’ Awareness of responsible AI use, data privacy, and the importance of human oversight.
β’ Familiarity with reporting or query tools.
β’ Experience with project or work-management tools like Smartsheet, Jira, or Microsoft Project is preferred.
β’ Competence in assessing complex issues, identifying root causes, evaluating impacts, and recommending actionable solutions.
β’ Strong understanding of HCM configuration, data management, reporting, integrations, testing, security, and production support.
β’ Ability to clearly articulate technical concepts and build collaborative relationships across HR, Payroll, IT, vendors, and business teams.
β’ Capacity to organize intricate tasks, manage priorities and risks, and drive enhancements to completion.
β’ Proven discretion in handling confidential employee information while applying privacy, security, and governance standards.
β’ Proficiency in using approved AI tools, crafting clear prompts, evaluating outputs for accuracy and bias, safeguarding confidential data, and exercising human judgment and oversight.
β’ Ability to identify scalable improvements in systems, processes, and the user experience.
