Senior HR Strategic Partner – Consultant, Part-Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

πŸ“‹ Description

β€’ Collaborate directly with small business clients utilizing a fractional HR model.

β€’ Offer tailored, hands-on HR assistance and strategic advice.

β€’ Create strategies for various HR functional areas including compliance, benefits, talent management, systems, recruiting, and company culture.

β€’ Conduct organizational planning and HR audits.

β€’ Develop employee handbooks and establish policies.

β€’ Implement employee benefits.

β€’ Set up and automate HRIS systems.

β€’ Oversee recruitment activities such as crafting job descriptions, posting jobs, sourcing candidates, collecting and reviewing resumes, conducting pre-screen interviews, scheduling interviews, and extending job offers.

β€’ Design employee onboarding and off-boarding processes.

β€’ Create culture enhancement programs.

β€’ Manage employee relations, including investigations, disciplinary measures, and coaching.

β€’ Produce internal company marketing materials, including culture event content, benefits summaries, and onboarding presentations.

β€’ Provide payroll support.

β€’ Maintain availability for client needs, meetings, and urgent HR matters.


⛳️ Requirements

β€’ Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

β€’ Over 7 years of relevant HR experience in a generalist or managerial role within a small to mid-sized company (fewer than 300 employees).

β€’ At least 3 years of HR experience in a PE/VC-backed environment and/or a startup.

β€’ PHR and/or SHRM-CP certifications are advantageous.

β€’ Demonstrated success in developing and enhancing operational processes and procedures.

β€’ Strong understanding of HR systems with the ability to quickly learn new platforms.

β€’ Comprehensive knowledge of employment law, best practices in compensation, organizational planning and development, and employee relations.

β€’ Familiarity with multi-state employment laws, especially those in California, is beneficial.

β€’ Consistent availability during standard business hours.

β€’ Flexibility within daytime scheduling.

β€’ Must not be engaged in another full-time role or independent consulting practice.

β€’ Must provide favorite color when requested for additional information.
