Senior HR Specialist, Employee Relations and Transitions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Oversee and address the entire process of employee exits across various international jurisdictions.

• Provide expert advice to clients regarding termination, resignation, transfer procedures, employment contracts, and redundancy processes.

• Facilitate workforce reduction consultation meetings, administrative hearings, separation and settlement negotiations, and discussions regarding termination outcomes.

• Negotiate and influence positive resolutions in complex termination situations while balancing conflicting stakeholder interests.

• Collaborate with payroll, legal counsel, government agencies, trade unions, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance and conduct audits during the offboarding process.

• Create, customize, and manage termination and supplementary documents while safeguarding confidential employee records.

• Execute offboarding tasks using Remote’s internal HRIS platform alongside Customer Success, Legal, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance teams.

• Act as a subject-matter expert on offboarding issues and address inquiries from both internal and external sources.

• Assist clients in navigating Employee Relations resources, policies, and processes.

• Perform initial assessments of workplace issues and identify pertinent facts and local regulations.

• Coordinate the management of employee relations issues with both internal and external parties.

• Aid clients with progressive discipline strategies and documentation requirements.

• Track employee relations cases and ensure prompt follow-up.

• Contribute to enhancements in processes, automation, product development, and initiatives aimed at improving customer and employee experiences.

• Report directly to the Manager of Employee Lifecycle, Employee Relations & Transitions.


⛳️ Requirements

• Previous experience as an HR Advisor or HR Business Partner, demonstrating generalist HR skills and exposure throughout the employee lifecycle.

• Established record of managing voluntary and involuntary exits (terminations) with sensitivity, care, and adherence to legal standards.

• Experience delivering comprehensive HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across diverse jurisdictions.

• Capability to interpret and apply industrial instruments, analyze intricate HR challenges, conduct research, and propose practical solutions.

• Fundamental understanding of employee relations concepts, progressive discipline methods, and basic workplace investigation principles.

• Exceptional communication, influencing, conflict resolution, and negotiation abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.

• Talent for innovation, process enhancement, automation, and implementing best practices.

• Strong operational efficiency, meticulous record-keeping, and keen awareness of data integrity.

• Tech-savvy with the ability to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to evolving systems.

• Capacity to work independently and cohesively in a fast-paced, international, asynchronous, remote setting.

• Willingness to work flexible hours as required.

• Self-motivated and proactive with a sense of ownership and accountability.

• Strong capabilities in automation and fluency in AI technologies.
