This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Lead the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of intricate, enterprise-level reports and dashboards that encompass headcount, attrition, DEI, talent, recruiting, and organizational health.
• Convert vague business requirements into scalable reporting solutions and provide guidance to HR leaders regarding Workday and analytics tools.
• Perform advanced analyses to uncover trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering insights that are ready for executive presentation.
• Act as the primary contact for complex data issues and ensure that reporting is accurate, consistent, and timely.
• Supervise data validation processes and quality controls across essential HR systems.
• Suggest and implement enhancements to data structures, definitions, and reporting logic.
• Collaborate with HRIS to address systemic data challenges and ensure alignment of integrations, business processes, and downstream systems.
• Spearhead automation efforts to refine recurring reporting processes and enhance operational efficiency.
• Create and uphold documentation for reporting standards, data definitions, and advanced operational workflows.
• Recognize and pursue continuous improvement opportunities in people analytics and reporting consistency.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to HRBPs, COEs, and HR Operations.
• Assist with audit, compliance, benchmarking, submissions, and regulatory reporting needs.
• Mentor junior analysts by sharing best practices, guiding reporting logic, and reviewing their work.
• 5–7+ years of experience in Workday Reporting, HR Analytics, or HRIS with progressively increasing responsibility and complexity.
• Advanced proficiency with Workday Report Writer, EIBs, Calculated Fields, and dashboards.
• Experience with Workday PRISM or other advanced modules is a plus.
• Proven expertise in working with large HR data sets and developing scalable, automated reporting solutions.
• Strong preference for candidates with experience in business intelligence platforms (e.g., Power BI).
• Demonstrated capability to convert data into strategic insights for senior leadership.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional skill in synthesizing information and presenting insights in a clear, concise manner suitable for executive audiences.
• High attention to detail combined with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities, work independently, and influence others without direct authority.
• Customer-focused with a collaborative, team-oriented approach.
• Proven track record of driving process improvements and enhancing reporting standards within a COE or enterprise setting.
