This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design robust healthcare analytics, health economics and outcomes research (HEOR), and real-world evidence (RWE) studies for biopharmaceutical and medical device clients.

• Collaborate with project managers to define project scopes, suggest analytical methodologies, and ensure alignment of objectives with client requirements and timelines.

• Guide analysts and enhance their capabilities in study design, coding standards, and reproducible research practices.

• Work alongside analysts and statisticians on protocol development, statistical analysis plans, and advanced methodologies.

• Create and implement studies utilizing reusable R/Python packages, SAS code libraries, and Git-based version control.

• Conduct analyses on extensive administrative claims datasets while maintaining methodological integrity, data quality, and defensibility.

• Fulfill internal quality documentation requirements.

• Articulate assumptions, methodologies, limitations, and outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.

• Develop abstracts, posters, and manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed journals and scientific conferences.

• Assess new data sources and innovative methodologies.

• Suggest tools and standards to enhance analytics capabilities across the organization.

• Contribute to scientific publications and convey complex methodologies into practical insights for clients.


⛳️ Requirements

• Master’s and/or doctoral degree in health services research, epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, biostatistics, health economics/outcomes research, data science, statistics, or a related field.

• Over 5 years of professional experience in conducting healthcare analytics.

• Authored or co-authored at least one research article published in a scientific journal.

• Bachelor’s degree.

• Proven experience in executing healthcare analytics, HEOR, and real-world efficacy (RWE) studies.

• Strong portfolio of peer-reviewed publications as either a primary/senior author or contributor.

• Proficient in at least one statistical programming language; R, SQL, and/or SAS are highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Git and reproducible research workflows.

• Practical experience with real-world data sources and best practices in data engineering/cleaning.

• Advanced methodological expertise, including causal inference, survival/time-to-event analysis, longitudinal models, difference-in-differences, and sensitivity analyses.

• Excellent skills in developing PowerPoint presentations.

• Strong verbal communication abilities for articulating study design, methodologies, and outcomes.

• Proficient scientific writing skills appropriate for peer-reviewed publication and scientific communication.

• Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations, data privacy, and compliant management of PHI/limited datasets.

• Basic understanding of generative AI tools, productivity applications, and ethical considerations.

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for immigration support or sponsorship.

• Resume or CV that includes a publication list or links to representative work.

• Preferred: experience in preparing HEOR/RWE evidence.

• Preferred: familiarity with economic modeling, including cost-effectiveness and budget impact, as well as integration of RWE inputs.
