Data Analyst I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Gather and compile essential information from both internal and external sources, preparing data for analysis.

• Provide guidance to colleagues on techniques for data transformation and imputation.

• Identify and extract relevant data from various databases.

• Transform variables and prepare input files suitable for modeling software.

• Impute missing values and rectify any problematic data.

• Transfer data into statistical software.

• Utilize linear and logistic regression, descriptive statistics, clustering, forecasting, mapping, and simulation methods to analyze trends and patterns.

• Create predictive models.

• Maintain and regularly update the collected data.

• Ensure that data updates are incorporated into existing analyses.

• Develop reporting capabilities for refreshable reports and dashboards.

• Design, package, and communicate analytical work using models, data visualizations, graphs, plots, infographics, tables, and charts.

• Compile, interpret, and present findings both verbally and in written form using Tableau, Tableau Server, Microsoft Office, and statistical modeling tools.

• Create dynamic dashboards on Tableau Server for hospital leadership.

• Develop reporting options for ongoing activities.

• Provide dashboards featuring data and trend analyses to senior leadership to facilitate strategic decision-making.

• Maintain consistency in formatting for reports.

• Assist in project planning and scheduling.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure deadlines are met.

• Perform additional duties as needed.
