This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate access, conversion, census, capacity, utilization, length of stay, patient engagement, clinical outcomes, and program effectiveness.
• Acquire a deep understanding of behavioral health care delivery, encompassing intake, treatment planning, therapy, psychiatry, documentation, authorization, outcomes, and discharge processes.
• Collaborate with clinical, operational, executive, research, and technology leaders to establish questions, metrics, analytical methodologies, and data requirements.
• Detect trends, patterns, risks, and opportunities aimed at enhancing care delivery, patient experiences, and program performance.
• Transform intricate findings into actionable insights, recommendations, presentations, publications, tables, visualizations, and summaries.
• Create accurate, documented, and reproducible datasets and analyses for outcomes research and program evaluations.
• Conduct and interpret analyses related to patient outcomes, treatment effectiveness, program success, and differences at the population or care level.
• Maintain definitions for metrics, documentation, analytical standards, and best practices.
• Collaborate with analysts and Data Engineering to ensure consistent definitions, reliable data, and scalable solutions.
• Standardize recurring analytical demands into dashboards, reports, and repeatable workflows.
• Implement AI-enabled analytical techniques and develop AI-assisted workflows, prompts, standards, and validation practices.
• Assess the accuracy, relevance, bias, and clinical or business context of AI-generated findings.
• Guarantee human judgment and clinical oversight in final analytical conclusions.
• Mentor fellow analysts and enhance analytical methodologies, tools, and workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Public Health, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, or a related discipline; equivalent relevant experience may be acceptable.
• Over 5 years of experience in analytics, healthcare analytics, business intelligence, or comparable analytical roles.
• Candidates with a clinical background must showcase proven experience in utilizing data to assess care delivery, patient outcomes, program performance, or complex healthcare inquiries.
• Experience in collaborating with healthcare clinical operations and translating clinical workflows and business queries into impactful analyses.
• Proficiency in analyzing healthcare performance metrics, including access, utilization, quality, outcomes, or program effectiveness.
• Familiarity with modern analytics and BI platforms, such as Power BI.
• Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to independently explore complex clinical and operational inquiries.
• Capability to convert complex data into clear insights for clinical, operational, and executive audiences.
• Experience in utilizing AI or generative AI to enhance analytical tasks and validate results.
• Excellent communication, prioritization, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Knowledge of healthcare privacy, security, compliance, and the appropriate management of PHI.
• Preferred: experience in behavioral health, IOP, PHP, outpatient mental health, substance use treatment, or similar clinical settings.
• Preferred: familiarity with behavioral health workflows.
• Preferred: experience in clinical outcomes, program evaluation, or research-related analytics.
• Preferred: experience with EMR/EHR and other healthcare operational systems.
• Preferred: experience in integrating AI-assisted methods and/or modern cloud data and analytics platforms like Microsoft Fabric.
