This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Engage in an international nearshore project, assisting technology and operations efforts related to Asset Management, Wealth Management, and Market Data.
• Evaluate, authenticate, and interpret financial, operational, and market information.
• Aid in operations and technology projects pertaining to Asset Management and Wealth Management.
• Design, maintain, and enhance intricate SQL queries.
• Develop and refine reporting and analytics solutions.
• Oversee data quality and consistency across various systems.
• Conduct validation and reconciliation activities.
• Detect discrepancies and explore their underlying causes.
• Assist in resolving data issues within production environments.
• Collaborate with business users, investment teams, operations, and technology divisions.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Convert requirements into analytical and reporting solutions.
• Generate analyses and insights to aid decision-making processes.
• Document business rules, workflows, data lineage, and reporting logic.
• Support financial, management, and regulatory reporting procedures.
• Contribute to the establishment and execution of data quality controls.
• Assist with Data Governance efforts.
• Ensure traceability, integrity, and reliability of information.
• Participate in data transformation and modernization initiatives.
• Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams.
• Share expertise and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of analysis and reporting processes.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative discipline.
• Proficient in advanced English (C2), capable of effective communication in an international setting.
• Relevant professional experience as a Data Analyst, Business Data Analyst, Market Data Analyst, Reporting Analyst, or in a comparable position.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience in developing and optimizing complex queries.
• Familiarity with relational databases and analyzing extensive data sets.
• Experience in evaluating financial, operational, or market data.
• Understanding of data validation and reconciliation methods.
• Background in Data Quality initiatives.
• Capability to identify, examine, and resolve discrepancies across systems and data sources.
• Experience in reporting, analytics, and creating solutions for business users.
• Proven track record in gathering and documenting requirements.
• Ability to translate business needs into analyses, queries, and reports.
• Experience in documenting business rules, data lineage, and reporting logic.
• Ability to collaborate with business, investment, operations, and technology teams.
• Familiarity with troubleshooting data issues in production environments.
