Senior Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create documentation for data mapping processes to incorporate raw data from various sources into the Bronze layer of the data lake.

• Tackle intricate data mapping challenges with a creative and solutions-focused approach.

• Record data lineage and ingestion procedures for enhanced transparency and compliance.

• Set up and oversee data quality checks to detect anomalies, missing values, schema drift, and other data quality concerns.

• Diagnose ingestion problems and apply effective solutions.

• Develop dashboards to monitor data health within the Bronze layer.

• Promote operational excellence and ongoing improvement within data operations.

• Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Over 4 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a comparable analytics role.

• Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with data manipulation in raw formats.

• Relevant experience handling large datasets within a data lake environment.

• Understanding of ETL/ELT methodologies and best practices.

• Knowledge of data modeling concepts and techniques.

• Experience with data quality management and testing frameworks.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to effectively manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Keen attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy and traceability.

• Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Strong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience with complex healthcare data is highly preferred.

• Preferred qualifications include experience with Scala, Databricks, modern data architecture patterns, big data technologies such as Spark and Delta Lake, data governance principles, and working in a data-driven organization.
