Data Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Manage and investigate inquiries related to data, reports, dashboards, and KPIs.

• Analyze questions, inconsistencies, and discrepancies pertaining to data and business rules.

• Execute queries, validations, and investigations in databases using SQL.

• Assist business teams in interpreting and utilizing the available information.

• Navigate and verify information in dashboards utilizing Power BI.

• Clearly and accessibly communicate analysis results to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• When necessary, perform small-scale automations, data processing, and data manipulation using Python.

• Identify recurring requests and opportunities for improving reports, data, and documentation.

• Organize and monitor activities, priorities, and potential obstacles.

• Collaborate with other technology and data professionals on situations that require in-depth technical analysis.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in data analysis.

• Proficiency in SQL, with the capability to conduct data queries and investigations.

• Familiarity with Power BI, specifically for navigating, analyzing, and validating information.

• Strong analytical skills and an investigative mindset for identifying causes of discrepancies or issues.

• Ability to comprehend business rules and relate them to data.

• Effective communication skills for engaging with diverse audiences, including non-technical stakeholders.

• Organizational skills and autonomy in managing requests and priorities.

• Enthusiasm for developing and enhancing knowledge in Data & Analytics.

• Proficiency in Python for small-scale automations, analyses, or data manipulation.

• Familiarity with or experience in Databricks.

• Understanding of Data Lake and Lakehouse concepts.

• Experience with Jira or other request-management tools.

• Background in industries that heavily utilize data, KPIs, and business rules.

• Previous experience in the insurance or insurance brokerage sector is an advantage.

• Knowledge of products, processes, KPIs, or regulations relevant to the insurance industry.

• Experience in balancing support for business teams with data analysis and investigation.
