Data Analytics Subject Matter Expert

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Examine the curriculum for Excel, statistics, financial analysis, visualization, reporting, SQL, Python, and advanced analytics to ensure accuracy, relevance, and sufficient depth.

• Suggest updates to curriculum and content based on the latest analyst responsibilities, contemporary BI/data tools, and practices involving AI-assisted analytics.

• Differentiate between foundational skills and advanced or specialized topics, aligning outcomes with the expectations of entry-level and early-career analysts.

• Create original content and utilize AI to develop educational materials and resources, including videos, PDFs, and infographics.

• Design and review content that teaches responsible use of AI in data analytics.

• Produce explainers for troubleshooting AI-assisted formulas, conducting analyses, summarizing data, and explaining charts and visualization techniques.

• Craft AI-enabled exercises that reinforce essential analytics skills.

• Write or modify lessons, exercises, projects, case studies, quizzes, and assessments using realistic business scenarios and datasets.

• Assess spreadsheet activities, SQL queries, Python scripts, visualizations, and AI-assisted workflows for both technical accuracy and educational effectiveness.

• Create practical reporting activities that assist learners in interpreting KPIs and conveying insights to both operational and non-technical stakeholders.

• Collaborate with Springboard’s learning team to refresh the curriculum and produce new content for the Data Analytics Bootcamp.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.

• Over 7 years of experience in data analytics or business analytics, preferably within a large, Fortune 1000 company.

• Proven experience in teaching data analytics and creating explainer content or curricula related to data analytics.

• Proficiency in utilizing AI to generate content, including videos, infographics, and written materials.

• Strong expertise in SQL, Python, Microsoft Excel, and visualization tools such as Tableau.

• In-depth knowledge of statistics, financial analysis, reporting, visualization, and structured analytical problem-solving techniques.

• Practical knowledge of generative AI tools and their applications in analytics workflows, including the ability to evaluate AI-generated outputs for accuracy and limitations.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clarify technical concepts for non-technical or beginner audiences.
