This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland, +1 more country.
• Collaborate with the European leadership team to identify, structure, and prioritize strategic initiatives that promote regional growth and operational excellence.
• Create and uphold a comprehensive overview of the European initiative landscape, ensuring that workstreams are adequately resourced, tracked, and executed according to plan.
• Develop project plans, sustain momentum, and ensure contributors are held accountable for their commitments and deadlines.
• Execute strategic initiatives independently, manage cross-team interactions, and escalate any obstacles encountered.
• Prepare strategy presentations, market analyses, business cases, and performance updates for leadership, board, and partner stakeholders.
• Collaborate on developing the European expansion strategy by country, translating regional ambitions into prioritized actionable plans.
• Monitor market dynamics, competition, and regulatory changes to identify potential opportunities and risks.
• Drive growth initiatives alongside site operations teams.
• Oversee M&A diligence workstreams, timelines, and information flow.
• Prepare market analyses, site evaluations, and operational summaries to inform investment decisions.
• Work together with US-based finance and legal teams during diligence and deal processes.
• Manage the transition from site integration to steady-state operations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• 3–5 years of experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or similar) with substantial exposure to healthcare, life sciences, or health-tech clients; and/or experience in a fast-growing startup, or in strategy or business development roles within a pharmaceutical or biotech firm.
• Demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, manage multi-stakeholder projects, and produce high-quality, executive-ready deliverables under time constraints.
• Strong analytical skills — adept at building models, assessing market sizes, and independently driving data-informed recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities; capable of creating compelling, well-organized materials for senior audiences with minimal guidance.
• Familiarity with M&A concepts and processes — from market mapping to post-acquisition integration.
• Proficiency in English and Polish is required.
• Willingness to travel within the region as necessary (up to 20%).
• Previous experience in clinical research, CRO, or site network settings is preferred.
• Background in working on M&A or corporate development initiatives, either in consulting or in-house, is preferred.
• Understanding of Central and Eastern European market dynamics — including the regulatory landscape, commercial environment, and key stakeholders — is preferred.
