This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Lead subject matter experts in the Certification program offerings while keeping abreast of industry trends, regulatory updates, and market changes.
• Adjust operational strategies and guide the team in adapting to regulatory changes.
• Provide reports on regulatory shifts and trends, encompassing insights, key takeaways, forecasts, and potential impacts on the business.
• Spearhead cross-functional initiatives to enhance certification standards, streamline compliance operations, and scale processes effectively.
• Oversee and refresh compliance frameworks, including the annual Certification Standards Review.
• Participate in customer calls to assist with compliance-related client interactions.
• Assist the Sales team with documentation, scoping decisions, and addressing client inquiries.
• Foster the development of policy team members through coaching, feedback, and growth planning.
• Monitor team capacity and propose structural or resourcing changes as needed.
• Collaborate with the Certification Innovation Leader to integrate AI and automation into policy and compliance workflows.
• Work alongside Legal on issues related to denials, escalations, suspensions, litigation concerns, and other relevant matters.
• Support jurisdictional and scope expansions by conducting regulatory discovery, making feasibility decisions, providing documentation, and enhancing team skills.
• Manage daily operations of the Policy and Compliance team, including hiring, coaching, KPIs, and performance standards.

• Comprehensive understanding of policy management, industry regulations, and compliance standards relevant to various sectors.
• Proven experience in managing risk and compliance programs, including policy development, implementation, and monitoring across operations.
• Extensive subject matter expertise that aligns with industry trends, business demands, and regulatory obligations.
• Experience in building, coaching, and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Capability to thrive in dynamic and evolving markets with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Excellent time management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficient in MacOS, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.), and Microsoft Excel.
• Skilled in professional writing and in developing or reviewing compliance documentation.
• Well-developed proficiency in speaking, reading, comprehending, and writing in English.
• Open to candidates with a four-year college degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
• 2–4 years of experience managing personnel and/or policy and compliance-related programs.
