This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
β’ Design and execute key components of the compiler.
β’ Evaluate performance and develop/implement new optimization techniques.
β’ Collaborate with global teams focused on compilers, GPU drivers, architecture, and applications to facilitate enhancements and troubleshoot issues.
β’ Identify significant compilation challenges for cutting-edge GPU technologies.
β’ Contribute to open-source initiatives such as LLVM and DXC (HLSL compiler).
β’ Suggest, design, and develop SPIR-V extensions.
β’ Act as a representative for NVIDIA in Khronos.
β’ Engage in and influence the evolution of SPIR-V as a standardized graphics interchange format.
β’ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (PhD is highly preferred) or equivalent professional experience.
β’ Over 8 years of experience with a robust background in compilers.
β’ Proficient in C/C++ programming.
β’ In-depth knowledge of parallel programming models.
β’ Experience with compiler optimizations, particularly in relation to LLVM infrastructure.
β’ Proven experience in developing applications using CUDA, DirectX, OpenGL/Vulkan.
β’ Familiarity with creating compiler optimizations and code generation specifically for GPUs.
β’ Capable of executing code generation and establishing an effective compiler framework.
