Senior Grant and Contract Officer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.

📋 Description

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of assistance awards, grants, and contracts involving U.S. Government, bilateral and multilateral organizations, foundations, corporations, and private entities.

• Ensure adherence to applicable regulations and guidelines.

• Manage a diverse regional portfolio while acting as the primary contact and main advisor to senior management at IPG, TE, and WVUS.

• Draft and negotiate teaming agreements, subgrants, amendments, professional service agreements, and nondisclosures.

• Provide regulatory, compliance, technical support, and grant administration guidance throughout the duration of project lifecycles.

• Oversee subgrantee compliance and implement corrective actions for any non-compliance issues.

• Assist with annual single audits and participate in other external and internal audit processes.

• Track audit and compliance matters, certify and complete closeout requirements, as well as fulfill donor requests.

• Coordinate the development and enhancement of WVUS policies, procedures, and systems to ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with IPG programs on risk mitigation, Risk Assessment and Management plans, and Safeguarding initiatives.

• Lead notifications to grantors concerning allegations and incidents, including Mandatory Disclosures.

• Engage in spiritual disciplines pertinent to Christian organizations while embodying WV Core Values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (eight years) in a related field.

• 5-8 years of experience in accounting, business administration, finance, legal, grant, and/or contract sectors.

• Gateway 2 Grants and TOT certification is required within the first 6 months of employment.

• Authorization to work in the U.S.A. for any employer is essential.

• Proficiency in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and/or other languages is preferred and may be necessary for certain regional portfolios.
