Senior GPU Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, optimize, and expand GPU infrastructure for AI training and inference tasks.

• Take ownership of the complete validation process for GPU clusters and new hardware platforms.

• Lead the qualification and initialization of new GPU platforms.

• Analyze and address performance bottlenecks across GPU, CPU, PCIe, and network layers.

• Establish and uphold validation frameworks, test suites, and performance benchmarks.

• Develop and enhance automation frameworks for cluster provisioning and validation efforts.

• Define performance benchmarks and validation methodologies.

• Troubleshoot intricate distributed system issues, including communication libraries like NCCL.

• Enhance system reliability through proactive testing and tuning measures.

• Mentor engineers to elevate team skills and capabilities.

• Drive cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving the reliability and efficiency of GPU clusters.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in GPU infrastructure, HPC, or distributed systems.

• Strong expertise in Linux operating systems and server hardware.

• Proven track record with large-scale GPU clusters.

• Advanced programming skills in Python (beyond basic scripting).

• Experience with automation frameworks like Ansible or similar tools.

• Background in defining validation standards and performance benchmarks for GPU infrastructure.

• Strong debugging capabilities across system layers (hardware → OS → network).

• Familiarity with high-speed networking concepts.

• Exceptional communication and cross-team collaboration abilities.

• Must be located in the United States.
