This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.
• Oversee the daily execution of distributed work projects, encompassing migration planning, readiness assessment, and performance monitoring.
• Leverage data-driven insights regarding capabilities, capacity, and performance to facilitate work migration decisions.
• Create integrated schedules, manage cross-functional dependencies, and delineate work packages.
• Collaborate with CGO, Programs, Functions, and Corporate to align on requirements, infrastructure, timelines, and risk factors.
• Recognize and monitor risks, constraints, and resource gaps that impact the execution of distributed work.
• Set readiness criteria, develop mitigation plans, outline contingency strategies, and conduct change impact assessments.
• Assist in the development and implementation of the CGO distributed work playbook, governance, and standardized procedures.
• Work in partnership with engineering, operations, supply chain, DT/ECC, GSS/Cyber, and workforce intelligence teams.
• Address technical, security, infrastructure, and staffing requirements.
• Deliver communication, status updates, KPI monitoring, and leadership briefings.
• Employ planning tools, earned value methodologies, and analytics for capacity evaluations, operational readiness, and migration choices.
• Document lessons learned to enhance distributed work processes and promote scalable improvements in line with the CGO capacity strategy.
• Travel up to 35% to engage with stakeholders, support initiatives, and ensure coordination across locations.
• Provide support to the CGO Engineering Initiatives Leader.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant STEM field, such as Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
• At least ten (10) years of experience in technical and functional leadership roles in operations, supply chain, systems, hardware, or multidisciplinary engineering organizations.
• Certification in program/project management, Lean/Six Sigma, planning/scheduling, or ERP systems.
• Proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects with competing priorities within a matrixed environment across engineering, operations, supply chain, DT, cyber/security, real estate, and workforce planning.
• Experience in identifying risks, formulating mitigations, fostering readiness, and executing structured change management strategies.
• Proficiency in preparing leadership-level briefings, KPIs, and status reports using analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience in interpreting system data to inform decisions.
• Background in leading or supporting operational improvement initiatives, workflow optimization, or business transformations.
• Ability to build relationships, influence without authority, and manage stakeholders across various programs and functions.
• Active and transferable U.S. government-issued security clearance is required prior to the start date.
• An active and existing DoD Secret security clearance is required on the first day.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 35%.
• An advanced degree in Business or an MBA is preferred, with in-process MBA candidates being acceptable.
• Experience in both commercial and defense sectors is preferred.
• Preferred experience in managing budgets, schedules, materials, and capacity for large programs/projects.
• Leadership experience in production control, infrastructure, or supply chain execution is preferred.
• A background in logistics, operations, or regulatory compliance supporting distributed operational teams is preferred.
