Analysis Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee CAE and virtual analysis tasks for the development of suspension and steering systems throughout all phases of vehicle programs.

• Evaluate and enhance suspension and steering kinematics, compliance, stiffness, damping, and tire specifications.

• Conduct ride and handling simulations, encompassing steady-state and transient vehicle dynamics scenarios such as Fish-Hook, Step Steer, Trailer Tow, and Off-Road conditions.

• Create, validate, and sustain full vehicle and subsystem simulation models utilizing ADAMS/Car, CARSIM, VI-Car Realtime, and NASTRAN.

• Offer engineering insights and analytical support to enhance vehicle ride, handling, comfort, durability, and overall performance objectives.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

• In-depth understanding of vehicle dynamics theory and its applications.

• 2–3 years of experience in analyzing suspension, steering, and brake system kinematics/compliance, ride and handling evaluations, or structural simulations.

• Expertise in ADAMS/Car, CARSIM, VI-Car Realtime, NASTRAN, Altair HyperWorks, and MATLAB.

• Capability to create custom automation and simulation routines using MATLAB, Visual Basic, or ADAMS scripting tools.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation abilities.

• Advanced proficiency in English.

• Knowledge of DFMEA, NX, Teamcenter, and CoDeP.

• Willingness to travel occasionally to Santa Fe.
