GPU Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform the initiation and setup of GPU nodes and clusters on new hardware platforms.

• Assess GPU node performance through both automated and manual testing methods.

• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software challenges across GPU and operating system layers.

• Assist in automation efforts utilizing Python, Bash, and Ansible scripting.

• Facilitate the onboarding and offboarding processes for systems within GPU clusters.

• Record procedures, observations, and enhancements for internal team use.

• Install, set up, and maintain GPU drivers, firmware, and system software.

• Oversee the health of GPU clusters and address hardware alerts and failures accordingly.

• Contribute to the development and expansion of robust GPU infrastructure that supports next-generation AI applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in systems engineering, infrastructure, or related fields.

• Practical experience with Linux systems and server hardware.

• Knowledge of GPUs (NVIDIA and/or AMD) in either production or lab settings.

• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.

• Familiarity with automation tools like Ansible.

• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to collaborate across teams and articulate technical concepts effectively.

• Understanding of GPU drivers and system software (NVIDIA CUDA, AMD ROCm).

• Must reside in the United States.

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

• Must not require sponsorship for an employment visa.
