This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with stakeholders across designated organizations, including SPOs, AFRL, supply chain, and other supporting entities.
• Provide valuable insights into organizational structures, priorities, and the processes involved in operational decision-making.
• Assist LSI in grasping timelines, expectations, and procedural factors that affect engagement and execution.
• Offer insights into government culture, communication practices, and organizational dynamics.
• Facilitate introductions, meetings, and site visits involving LSI, clients, and relevant government personnel.
• Ensure that all interactions conform to government protocols and expectations.
• Advise on effective communication and coordination pathways within the Wright-Patterson AFB environment.
• Support opportunities for productive engagement while upholding professionalism and compliance standards.
• Provide awareness of emerging needs, priorities, and mission areas where LSI capabilities may align.
• Assist in interpreting requirements, acquisition timelines, and government methodologies based on prior experience.
• Help identify areas where LSI and client solutions could enhance mission objectives.
• Share insights regarding organizational focus areas and changing priorities.
• Offer strategic perspectives and operational context to LSI leadership and business development teams.
• Contribute insights during planning discussions and proposal support efforts as required.
• Help ensure that LSI’s engagement strategy reflects a well-informed understanding of the local operating environment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Demonstrated experience working within or alongside Wright-Patterson AFB.
• Strong familiarity with SPOs, AFRL, and/or Air Force supply chain organizations.
• In-depth understanding of the Air Force acquisition environment and depot-level operations.
• Established network of relationships across relevant organizations.
• Ability to navigate both formal processes and informal organizational dynamics effectively.
• Strong skills in communication, relationship-building, and advisory roles.
• Must reside within a 30-mile radius of Wright Patterson AFB.
• Prior military or civilian experience in support of Air Force logistics or acquisition programs.
• Background equivalent to GS-12 through GS-14, O-4 through O-6, or similar senior-level experience.
• Experience collaborating with contractors or facilitating government-industry partnerships.
• Familiarity with proposal development, requirements generation, or acquisition planning processes.
• Prior involvement in mission support, sustainment, or logistics operations.
• Flexible 1099-consulting arrangement.
• Approximately 10–20 hours of work per month.
• Additional support hours may be requested occasionally and coordinated in advance.
• Flexible consulting capacity.
