Senior Global Service Associate – Tax & Accounting

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain, +2 more countries.

📋 Description

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring the timely and precise delivery of accounting and tax services.

• Oversee and manage compliance with accounting and tax obligations, including tax filings and statutory requirements.

• Offer clients expert advice on best practices in accounting and taxation.

• Collaborate with internal teams and local service providers to guarantee prompt service delivery.

• Establish and nurture relationships with clients and local service providers/teams, understanding their needs and proactively offering customized solutions.

• Assist in the development and implementation of new services and processes aimed at enhancing the client experience.

• Keep accurate client records and ensure documentation is current using platforms such as Salesforce, SharePoint, FreshDesk, Microsoft Teams, and other related systems.

• Generate service tickets, verify customer and provider data, track task and ticket statuses, and provide timely updates.

• Address ad hoc customer inquiries and engage relevant teams for escalations or opportunities for service enhancements.

• Build and maintain knowledge bases specific to regions or service lines.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in accounting and tax within a customer-facing service delivery role.

• Strong understanding of accounting and tax principles.

• Familiarity with IFRS and US GAAP.

• Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Xero, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, or comparable systems.

• General knowledge of bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, management reporting, consolidation services, and related processes across various jurisdictions.

• Exceptional customer-facing abilities.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in project management and/or onboarding processes.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.

• Capability to effectively manage multiple business relationships.

• Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and meet deadlines.
